Terms and Conditions for Direct Bookings
1. Acceptance of Terms By making a reservation through our direct booking page, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. ELITE Accommodation reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
2. Booking Confirmation A booking is only considered confirmed once full payment has been received, and a confirmation email has been sent to you. ELITE Accommodation will not be responsible for any misunderstandings if the confirmation email is not received due to issues outside of our control (e.g., incorrect email addresses or spam filters).
3. Payment Policy Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or EFT. ELITE Accommodation does not store any payment information, and all transactions are processed securely.
4. Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is allowed up to 14 days before the arrival date for standard bookings.
Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the booking total.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the arrival date or in the case of a no-show.
5. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time is from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival, and check-out is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability and additional charges.
6. Security Deposit A security deposit may be required for certain properties to cover any damages or excessive cleaning required after your stay. This deposit will be fully refunded within 7 days of check-out, provided no damage or violations of house rules are found.
7. House Rules Guests must adhere to the house rules provided upon check-in. Any violation of these rules, including noise disturbances, smoking, or unauthorized guests, may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without a refund.
8. Maximum Occupancy The maximum number of guests allowed per property is stated in the property listing. Exceeding the occupancy limit may result in eviction without a refund.
9. Liability ELITE Accommodation is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings that occur on the premises. Guests are advised to take appropriate precautions and insure their belongings during their stay.
10. Force Majeure ELITE Accommodation shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental restrictions, or power outages.
11. Privacy All personal information provided during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your data and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
12. Changes to Your Booking Any request to change your booking (e.g., dates, number of guests) must be made in writing at least 14 days before your arrival. Approval of such changes is subject to availability, and additional charges may apply.
13. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through South African legal channels.
